Heavy Vehicle Mechanic | Bushmaster Fleet

Location: Pinkenba, QLD

Join a specialized team maintaining and upgrading Bushmaster armored vehicles. This is a high-impact role requiring technical precision and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing: Routine maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and gearboxes.

• Technical: Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Specialized Work: Inspections and upgrades to a unique armored fleet.

• Safety: Strict adherence to OH&S and meticulous record-keeping.

The Environment

• Physicality: Working in/under large armored hulls and using ladders/platforms.

• Safety First: Strict 15kg manual lift limit (overhead cranes provided for heavy items).

• Tools: High-force push/pull requirements using heavy hand tools.

Requirements

• Qualified: Trade Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.

• Citizen: Must be an Australian Citizen (Security Requirement).

• Clearance: Must pass an Australian Federal Police (AFP) check.

• Logistics: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transport.
